More about this artwork

Mountain Warrior I (Orange) by Steph Fonteyn is a bold composition released within her collection of contemporary ski mountain prints. Created as a digital painting on an iPad, the artwork explores the powerful presence of helicopters within the alpine landscape.

Set against a dramatic field of colour, the helicopters move across the mountain setting with energy and purpose. Without chairlifts or people, the aircraft become the central visual element, creating a dynamic contrast between modern machinery and the vast natural environment of the Alps.

Steph Fonteyn is a British artist based in Switzerland whose work reflects the visual culture of mountain regions. Through digital painting, she combines expressive colour with strong graphic forms to create artworks that feel both contemporary and painterly.

Among Fonteyn’s ski mountain prints, Mountain Warrior I (Orange) stands out for its bold palette and powerful composition. The vibrant orange tones make it particularly striking in chalet interiors, ski lodges or modern homes inspired by alpine adventure.

Released as a limited edition print, the piece reflects Fonteyn’s interest in the machinery and movement that shape the experience of the mountains which is an interesting perspective on mountain art that will bring originality to your space.
