More about this artwork

Telepheriques III by Steph Fonteyn is a striking alpine composition available either as one of her contemporary framed ski prints mounted with plxiglass or as an unframed paper print. Created as a digital painting on an iPad, the work celebrates the elegant structures that define ski resorts across the Alps.

The artwork features a sequence of chairlifts moving steadily across layered mountain slopes rendered in vibrant colour. Without people in the scene, the focus shifts to the architectural rhythm created by the lift towers and cables stretching across the landscape. This minimal yet expressive approach gives the piece a calm and modern character.

Steph Fonteyn, a British artist now based in Switzerland, draws inspiration from the dramatic scenery and design elements of alpine destinations. Her digital painting process allows her to combine strong graphic forms with painterly texture, resulting in artworks that feel both contemporary and timeless.

Look at Steph Fonteyn's other framed ski prints to bring a refined alpine atmosphere to your interiors. Her compositions work particularly well when mixed together and hung in ski chalets, mountain apartments or homes that celebrate outdoor adventure and mountain culture.

Sold as a limited edition, this artwork reflects Fonteyn’s unique vision of the ski resort landscape.
