Telepheriques III by Steph Fonteyn is a striking alpine composition available either as one of her contemporary framed ski prints mounted with plxiglass or as an unframed paper print. The artwork features a sequence of chairlifts moving steadily across layered mountain slopes rendered in vibrant colour. Without people in the scene, the focus shifts to the architectural rhythm created by the lift towers and cables stretching across the landscape. This minimal yet expressive approach gives the piece a calm and modern character.
Steph Fonteyn, a British artist now based in Switzerland, draws inspiration from the dramatic scenery and design elements of alpine destinations.
