The prices listed are for the photo printed on paper unframed. If you would like the print framed please contact us for price. See below for more detail on the printing and framing options.
Framed - A contemporary oak frame in a natural finish or painted black or white is offered with a choice of normal glass or anti reflection glass. The normal glass is lower cost but the placement of the photo in relation to the light source is more important with this choice. You can have it shipped framed by the artist or shipped to our framer in Annecy who will frame it ready for collection by the customer.
Dye Sublimation on Hd Chromaluxe Aluminium Panels - Images are infused into specially coated panels to provide the most durable, longest lasting prints. By infusing the dyes directly into special coated metal prints, the results are outstandingly clear and vibrant with exceptional detail and resolution. The panels are lightweight, there is no glass in front of the photo. Metal prints can be purchased as stand alone with an integral wall mount on the back or in a metal floater frame where the distance between the photo and frame creates the impression the image is floating. Photo in situ is not to exact scale.
More about this artwork
Unseen Hours is a striking black and white ski resort photo by Gio Fleming that captures the quiet, atmospheric moment before a day on the mountain begins. The resort sits in soft half light, poised between night and the arrival of the first skiers.
Very early in the morning, snow cannons operate across the prepared slopes while low cloud fills the valley below. The landscape feels suspended in time machines quietly shaping the pistes as darkness fades and the mountains slowly emerge from shadow.
Rendered in powerful black and white tones, the photograph emphasises the clean lines of the groomed runs and the contrast between illuminated snow and the surrounding darkness. This minimal, graphic composition highlights the calm, almost cinematic beauty of a ski resort in its most unseen hours.
This black and white ski resort photo makes a refined statement in interiors, particularly in chalets, contemporary homes, or mountain-inspired spaces. Unseen Hours brings a sense of alpine atmosphere and quiet anticipation, capturing the rare moment when the mountain belongs only to the dawn.
