Nature Photography Prints

A consequence of growing up in a mountainous area is a deep sensitivity to the subtle cycles and seasonal changes of the landscape. The trees, rivers, fields, snow cover, and mountains reveal different aspects of themselves from one hour, one day, and one season to the next. Gio’s challenge is to capture these shifting moods in her nature photography prints, creating images that not only enhance interiors but encourage viewers to value, preserve, and cherish these environments.

Fine Art Landscape Prints

Gio’s approach is not to simply capture what is in front of her, but to work with patience and intention. She waits for the right moment, the right light, and the right perspective, drawing on her experience to create fine art landscape prints that convey both beauty and emotion. Her work also extends to wildlife photography, capturing animals within their natural habitats with the same sensitivity and attention to atmosphere. These images go beyond documentation, expressing the depth and drama of the natural world.

Mountain Photography prints & Glacier Prints

The world’s wild places - mountains, glaciers, and polar landscapes are under increasing pressure from climate change and human activity. Gio’s mountain photography prints and stunning glacier photography reflects both the beauty and fragility of these environments. Alongside her life in the Alps, she frequently travels to the Arctic, where she documents remote landscapes and wildlife in extreme conditions. Having grown up in the Italian ski resort of Bardonecchia and now living in Les Gets in the French Alps, her work remains deeply connected to these environments, capturing both their power and vulnerability.

Alongside her outdoor work, she also photographs interiors and food, but it is her connection to the mountains that continues to define her practice.
